Aftermarket TMS (Not OEM) - BMW 5 Series (F10/F11/F07 Pre LCI) With Xenon Headlights

If you're looking for an affordable TMS with all OEM functions for your F10/F11/F07, our range of control units is perfect for you. 

Replacement TMS control units are usually required when the following faults are present on the IDrive after having water ingress into the headlight; 

• Headlight vertical aim control failure
• Side/daytime lights fault
• Turn indicator front failure

Please ensure that your TMS socket inside the headlight is clear of corrosion. If there is corrosion or rust on your internal harness, a new TMS (regardless of the source) will not fix your issue. You'll need to have a new internal harness fitted first—this is available within our in-house refurbishment and repair service. 

With this being under 20% of the cost of an OEM TMS from BMW, there may be slight differences to OEM—such as a minuscule reduction in output power to the angel eye drivers and slightly different LED indicator timing compared to an OEM TMS. If you want 100% OEM performance, no aftermarket TMS will meet your expectations; only OEM will do.

The above quirks may not be present on your TMS after initialising; however, since we have noticed some vehicles have had this issue, we fully disclose everything to ensure you know what is being purchased. 

Upon installation into the vehicle, the iDrive may or may not have errors. Regardless of whether any errors appear, we strongly recommend initialising the TMS on the car to ensure full compatibility and functionality. Any fault codes on the iDrive will be clear after initialisation.
