Service Information

Burnt, yellowing & failed DRLs are a common issue on these specific headlights, and our refurbishment & repair service will get your headlight(s) back to functioning as they should do. 

Please read this page in full to understand this service and its limitations. 

Our service has two levels, standard and full. 

The standard service is suitable for if your DRLs have light yellowing and are fully functional. Your existing optics will be refurbished and any burn marks must be within our preset specification from the leading face towards the LED light source. The replacement DRL will be brand new, OEM, directly from BMW dealers. We don't supply or use aftermarket LED units, and won't use any aftermarket supplied LED units. 

The full service will be required if your headlight isn't eligible for the standard service. Within the full service, we'll open your headlight, remove and replace all optics with new aftermarket optics, change the DRL unit for a new OEM supplied by BMW dealers, and supply and fit a brand new aftermarket lens. 

This issue is caused by a faulty design of the headlight, and as we are replacing the faulty components and not redesigning the headlights, there is a low chance that this issue may reappear. Any re-yellowing or failures within 1 year will be covered under our warranty. 

This service only includes what is listed and selected, and does not include any additional modules, breathers, casings, gaskets or similar. 

 

Post Purchase

Once you've purchased the service you require, you can either; 

  • Drop your headlight(s) off to us 
  • Post your headlight(s) off to us
  • Drop your car off to us (if selecting additional fitting)

Due to a large amount of headlights coming into us, please check our availability before placing an order as we may not be able to accept your headlights immediately. 

Once we have your headlight(s) in hand, we'll let you know, check them in and start then the following business day. When the headlights are complete, we'll notify you that they're ready for collection/outgoing postage. 

Turnaround Time

Our turnaround time is three full business days from when we receive the headlights in hand.

Due to a large amount of headlights coming into us, please check our availability before placing an order as we may not be able to accept your headlights immediately.

Postage

We can additionally:

  • Arrange DHL collection from your selected address (home or garage)
  • Arrange DHL collection & delivery to your selected address (home or garage) 

For collections we require the box dimensions and collection address before booking out with DHL. 

As standard headlights are insured for £800. DHL insurance does not cover damage due to insufficient packing.

All transit options are via DHL (fully insured) and are only valid for the UK mainland (excluding highlands, islands, and remote areas).

Fitting

If you want us to remove and refit the headlight during the repair service, please get in touch to get our availability as we tend to book a month in advance for our next fitting date. Fitting is not included within the base refurbishment and is an additional cost.

Deposit Option

Deposits are now accepted using the discount code 'RR-DEPOSIT' giving you the option to pay a non-refundable deposit of 25% which will secure your booking/fitting date (whichever is applicable in your case). The remainder will be due once the headlight(s) are completed.

What comes with this service?

You're purchasing a refurb/repair service where we will build your supplied headlights to the specification shown in the description above. Any additional options selected will be added to your build.

This does not include the headlights, or fitting/shipping within the base price. These additional services can be added to your build.

If I order today, when will I get my lights?

We usually have a 2 week wait list until we start your build. Within this time period, there will be a window where you'll be able to make changes to your specification.

How much will this be in total?

The price shown of the base build is the total price for the conversion service.

If you would like to add additional services like fitting, this will increase the final price.

Is there a deposit option?

Yes, our deposit option is 25% of your total order amount.

The remainder will be due once everything is completed and you're happy with the end result.

This deposit is non-refundable.

Can I get a refund?

Inline with goverment guidance, we do not offer refunds, and all sales are final. More information is available below.

Can I pay in monthly instalments or via finance?

We don't offer any in house montly payments or finance, however you may be accepted for third party finances products like Klarna or PayPal.
